Cacao Orange Fudge Bombs!

Scrumptious and super-easy recipe for deliciously fudgey, chocolatey, orangey bombs! Oh, and they're healthy too!

Ingredients

  • cacao orange fudge balls1 cup macadamia nuts or cashews
  • 1 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup coconut shreds
  • 4 tbsp ground linseed
  • 6 tbsp cacao powder
  • 7 medjool dates (or equivalent amount of other dates)
  • 4 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • zest of 1 orange
  • 2 tbsp sweetener (honey, maple syrup, rice malt syrup)
  •  1 tsp cinnamon
  •  cacao nibs or cacao powder for coating

Instructions

Add nuts to blender and blitz until finely ground. Don’t overdo it as you don't want to turn them into nut butter!
Scoop into a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients.
Mix by hand until you get a soft, gooey consistency.
Make small balls and place them in the fridge to firm up.
After about 30 mins, coat them in cacao powder or nibs and serve.

    Yum! went down with a treat! great to add to lunch box for morning tea or to add a nice change when serving morning or afternoon tea at home. Could be used to stuff dates & then dip in chocolate or roll in coconut as well. Thanks for recipe. Keep up the good work.
